Armor-Guard® is a water-soluble inorganic borate salt (98% disodium octaborate tetrahydrate) that may be used for treating and protecting wood against a wide variety of wood destroying organisms. Typically used as a 10% or 15% solution, Armor-Guard may also be used as a dust for eliminating and preventing drywood termites, carpenter ants, and household insects such as cockroaches, ants, and silverfish.
- Use Armor-Guard in conjunction with Shell-Guard for full house termite protection.
- Dust Armor-Guard into wall voids for carpenter ants.
- Prevent beetle infestations and fungal growth in crawlspaces.
- Provide residual protection against drywood termites after fumigation.
